It all begins with that pair of hands

Welcome to The Hands of Sergio — a space built on presence, skill, and genuine care.

My work is shaped by lived experience, continuous learning, and a deep respect for the human body.

I was born in the Canary Islands, Spain, and first discovered my interest in anatomy in 2014 while studying as a nurse assistant. In 2016, I arrived in Australia on Christmas Day with a simple intention: learn English and create a new path for myself.

After nine months of intensive language study, I began an 18‑month Diploma of Remedial Massage, followed by a 12‑month Certificate IV in Yoga Teaching. I started working as a massage therapist immediately after graduating in 2019, bringing together structure, intuition, and a strong foundation in anatomy.

In April 2020, during the uncertainty of the pandemic, I stepped into my own practice as a sole trader. That decision changed everything — it allowed me to build a space where clients feel safe, supported, and seen.

My approach is shaped by ongoing training and a commitment to growth. Over the years, I’ve added Level 1 Zenthai Shiatsu, a Diploma of Cupping Therapy, both introductory and advanced Dry Needling, three levels of Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian massage), and professional training in Tantric Massage.

What’s next?

I’m driven by curiosity and a desire to expand my toolbox. There’s always more to learn, and I’m committed to bringing new skills and deeper understanding into the work I offer.
